What core technical actions can be performed?
Developers can perform bulk updates on WordPress Core, plugins and themes directly from the WPImperium dashboard. Websites must first be connected through WpiApi and enabled for centralized management.
Can I manage multiple WordPress websites from a single dashboard?
Yes. WPImperium allows developers to manage multiple connected WordPress websites from a centralized dashboard, reducing the need to access each website individually.
Can WordPress backups be performed in bulk?
Yes. Developers can launch full backups of multiple enabled websites simultaneously. Backups include both website files and databases and are processed in the background.
Can I schedule automatic backups and updates?
Yes. Administrators can configure automated backup and update policies from the Settings section and schedule them for specific times, such as during nighttime hours.
How are WordPress websites connected to WPImperium?
Websites are connected through WpiApi using the official WPI Slave plugin installed on the client's WordPress website. A unique WPI Key generated by WPImperium is used to establish and verify the connection.
Can I test the connection before enabling a website?
Yes. After configuring the WpiApi connection, developers can perform a connection test. Once the test returns a successful result, the website can be enabled for automated and bulk operations.
Can developers update WordPress themes as well as plugins?
Yes. The Technical Management update interface separates updates into WordPress Core, Plugins and Themes.
Where are website backups stored?
Completed backups are securely stored in dedicated folders within WPImperium's built-in File Manager.
Can I manage files directly from WPImperium?
Yes. The File Manager provides a familiar file-and-folder interface for managing documents, assets and automatically generated files such as website backups.
Can I run operations on multiple websites at once?
Yes. Once websites are connected and enabled through WpiApi, WPImperium can execute supported technical operations across multiple websites from the central dashboard.
Can backup operations run in the background?
Yes. Once a bulk backup operation has been started, users can leave the page while the server continues processing the backups in the background.
What is WPI-CLI?
WPI-CLI is WPImperium's command-line interface for developers, designed to provide command-line access to platform operations and support technical automation workflows.
What is the technology stack?
WPImperium is a web-based platform built around a centralized Master server architecture. Client WordPress websites connect to the platform through WpiApi and the WPI Slave plugin, allowing the Master to communicate with connected Slave installations.
Developer Management
Can I assign a developer to each customer?
Yes. WPImperium allows each customer to be assigned to a specific Developer responsible for the technical management of their websites.
Can developers manage multiple assigned websites?
Yes. Developers can manage multiple websites assigned to them from the centralized Technical Management area, provided the websites have an active WpiApi connection.
Can I control which sections a developer can access?
Yes. Administrators can configure granular permissions and determine which pages and modules are visible to each Developer.
Can developer responsibilities be reassigned?
Yes. Administrators can modify customer assignments and redistribute website management responsibilities between Developers as needed.
Can developers access customer information?
Developers can access the customer information and technical data made available to them according to their assigned permissions. Administrators control which sections and pages each employee can access.
Can developers access customer credentials and API keys?
Customer credentials, passwords and API keys can be stored within the Connected Services area. Access to customer information is subject to the permissions configured by the Administrator.
Can technical and commercial teams work on the same customer account?
Yes. WPImperium connects commercial and technical workflows through shared customer records, Seller and Developer assignments and shared notes.
Can developers use shared customer notes?
Yes. Shared Notes allow Developers and commercial staff assigned to the same customer to exchange information and keep important operational details in one place.
Can administrators customize developer permissions?
Yes. Administrators have granular control over employee permissions and can enable or hide specific pages and software modules for each Developer.
Is there a shared workspace for developers and sellers?
Yes. Customer records, assignments and Shared Notes provide a common workspace where technical and commercial teams can collaborate while maintaining role-based access.
Staff Management
How does the system track work hours?
Attendance is recorded automatically when an employee logs in and out. Employees can also pause their session using the Go To Break function and add notes describing the work completed.
Can employees record breaks?
Yes. Employees can pause their working session using the Go To Break function and resume work afterward.
How does automatic session management work?
For attendance accuracy and security, user sessions are automatically closed after two hours of inactivity.
Can attendance records be corrected?
Yes. Administrators can access an employee's attendance history and make corrections when necessary.
What data is available for payroll?
Administrators can export attendance, absence and break information in XML format. These records can be used as input for payroll processing.
Are there productivity metrics?
Yes. Administrators can download monthly reports containing non-invasive performance information that can be used to monitor overall company productivity.
Can I create different roles for employees?
Yes. WPImperium supports Seller, Developer and Administrator roles, with customizable permissions for individual employees.
Can I control which sections each employee can access?
Yes. Administrators can enable or hide specific pages and modules for individual employees according to their responsibilities.
Can employees keep private notes?
Yes. The Staff/Notes section provides each user with a personal workspace for notes, reminders and formatted text.
Can I add, edit and manage employees?
Yes. Administrators can add new employees, define their roles and credentials, edit their information and manage their assigned permissions.
Can responsibilities be reassigned between employees?
Yes. Administrators can modify employee assignments and redistribute website management responsibilities as needed.
Who can manage employee accounts?
Employee management is restricted to Administrators. Administrators can create employees, configure their roles, modify their information and manage their access permissions.
Can attendance data be exported?
Yes. Administrators can use the Download Presenze e Report function to export attendance, absence and break data in XML format and download monthly performance reports.
